Beautiful! There's a reason our ancestors believed in nature spirits.

Love this. I so relate. The power and beauty of the early mornings to create without the cacophony of life's busyness. Thank you for "channelling" and sharing this. Jo 😊

OK Bertus, I have a bit of ironing for you. I just read Ch9, and I see something that doesn't ring right, at least in north america (perhaps it's different in europe, but I suspect it's the same.)

Where I am, a project manager wouldn't say “We need ... three-phase power at the gate," because that doesn't tell you anything about what size generator, wire gauge, breaker and (possibly) transformer(s) you'd need. It'd be more realistic to say what size generator (kW), or main breaker (A), and also at what voltage unless it's obvious and known (i.e. residential voltage). There are a few ways you could say it and various levels of detail you could go into, but specifying the generator size or amperage would be necessary at a minimum if he is expecting anyone to act on what he said.

Just a suggestion but an electrician would cock an eyebrow at "three-phase power" which conveys little useful information by itself other than that the load is big. HTH

Thanks, I love this….so totally useful to have people looking over my shoulder….

The funny thing is, this conversation is partly based on a real situation of me (as artist in residence) asking to bring power to a remote workshop on the festival terrain….and the guy in charge was all over me, explaining voltage drop and the amount of work and hardware involved… and what a fools quest the whole fu…. circus was….

I will do some ironing….maybe an engineer (or Joe) should speak up like you did…

I saved a stanza from a poem for many years, unknown author. “I want to love you the way wind loves a window.” Your visceral exploration of wind reminded me of this - and how the meaning changes every time, every season.
